A private house with an amphitheater, a pool, a sculpture, a work studio and a gallery.
During my tenure at ZLG Design, we elevated project documentation into an art form—each commission culminated in a bespoke, hand-bound booklet that chronicled the architectural journey from concept to completion. Far more than a procedural formality, these volumes wove together sketches, material samples, and narrative insights into a tactile storybook, designed to demystify the design process for clients.
Presented as a closing ritual, the booklets served dual purposes: as a meticulous archival record for the studio and as a personalized artifact for the client—a physical manifesto of their project’s ethos. This practice embodied our belief that architecture thrives not just in built form, but in the legibility of its making.
